At Guerilla Rocks we want to do everything we can to play music you want to hear. What we can play depends on the time of night etc (i.e. later on in the night we play bigger songs) but we will always do our best within reason.

DJ GAZZ MARLOW

Gazz has been involved in the promotion of live music and club events for over 7 years and has been regularly DJing for 4 of those, recently DJing with members of The Ramones, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Franz Ferdinand , The Futureheads, and Belle & Sebastian, and at gigs for bands including Shiny Toy Guns and Hell is for Heroes.

He has worked with high profile artists such as LostProphets, Hundred Reasons, Hermano (John Garcia - Kyuss), Million Dead and Johnny Truant. Gazz promoted the successful cult club night Dysfunction in Northampton as well as having DJ'd at various nights and venues around Brighton (The Pav Tav, Barfly/Gloucester, Honey Club, Ocean Rooms, Pressure Point, Hobgoblin, Core Club).

At Guerilla Rocks, musically Gazz leans more towards post-hardcore and metal with bands such as Glassjaw, Johnny Truant, Alexisonfire and Biffy Clyro being firm favourites. He also sings and plays guitar in the melodic rock band Dry Rise. www.myspace.com/gazzmarlowdj
 

DJ MATT JOHNSON

Matt is relatively new to the staff here at Guerilla rocks, but has been DJing for over a year now, previously working with Gazz at metal/punk club night Homewrecker. Until recently Matt was vocalist in one of Brighton's most popular metal bands, Architects, during which he completed 6 full UK tours and one tour of Europe! A little known fact is that once, whilst on tour, Matt was forced to get completely naked to be searched by Swedish customs!

When DJing, Matt likes playing bands such as Paramore, Every Time I Die, Enter Shikari, Gallows, Panic! At The Disco, Hadouken! and My Chemical Romance, and he also has a strong liking for classic rock! www.myspace.com/mattthearchitect
